I'm a fangirl, a college student, and a writer. Thanks to the Internet, at least 70% of my thoughts now emerge in the form of memes. And pandas. If I post something that makes no sense, it's probably RP related.

In the 1970 NASA envisioned possibilities to colonize space: building giant spaceships, orbiting around the sun. The image shows a diorama scene from the Haus der Natur, in Salzburg. For Space colonization, it seems, people in the 70ies could not think of something different than living in a private suburban (row) house. Even in space we insisted on questionable urban planing ideas.

NASA is planning to grow basil, turnips and Arabidopsis on the Moon. The experiment, which will commence in 2015, will test whether plants can thrive in partial gravity and in a controlled environment. If the experiment succeeds, setting aluminium greenhouses on the Moon could soon be a reality(via Science Alert/fb)

Astronaut readjusts to life back on Earth

> Don’t give him a baby for a while.

HE GRABS THE CUP BUT THEN HE DROPS THE PEN 0.0003 SECONDS LATER

AND HE LOOKS UP AT THE CEILING INSTEAD OF AT THE GROUND WHEN HE CAN’T FIND THEM

Oh my god, it’s not even that he accidentally drops it, he just purposely let’s go of them, expecting for them to float in the air while he goes about his business.

I encourage everyone to watch this, it’s great. Humans are great.

The rover Curiosity lands successfully on Mars and is able to send back images. On one we can see the wheel of Curiosity on the surface of Mars and on the other side, we can its shadow.

So many happy NASA people :) AND WE WILL KNOW ALL YOUR SECRETS, MARS.
